Preschool recommendations

Postby pink.lemonade » Thu Aug 30, 2018 8:10 pm

I’ve just moved to the area and am looking for preschool recommendations for my 3yo, to start this September. Ideally I’d go with a state preschool, but it sounds like Honeywell and Belleville are unlikely to have capacity. I only need a part time place/short days (don’t need 8am-6pm) as I’m at home anyway with a baby, also I’d like to use the preschool to meet other families with similar age children for ours to play with in the week. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Noah's Ark, which leads to Dolphin School is great.

Thanks, yes close to HW & Belleville-hopefully she’ll be fine to go to one of these for primary but they seem to be full already for nursery. Will check out Noah’s Ark, thank you.

One of the kindergartens might be near enough or one of the Marmalades

I second Noahs Ark- my 3 year old is there currently and it's a wonderful place - 9am to 12.30 five mornings a week.

Definitely check out Balham Nursery School on Endlesham Road which is state (so free) and totally amazing! There always have kids moving onto Honeywell/bellville school and it’s not too far from the Northcote Road area.

They always get ofsted outstanding.

Good luck x
