Teaching your children stretching techniques early can get them in the habit of stretching so that they'll be doing it when they need it.
Why stretch and relax - What can it help do?
Improve Body Image – Young people often have a poor body image and are ever trying to change their appearance to fit in. Promoting self-awareness and acceptance during these sessions will help teenagers overcome their poor self-image.
Improve Breathing – through a blend of breathing exercises and postures that foster physical and emotional well-being, teenagers will learn how to focus on their breath to promote mindfulness and breathe correctly (stomach breathing) for relaxation.
Promote Better Posture– A lot of the postures used during sessions will enable improvement in your posture. Teenagers and children who carry heavy backpacks often have a ‘hunched over’ posture when they sit or stand. Certain poses help to maintain an upright posture, which strengthens the spine.

6-week ‘Stretch and Relax’ course for 13-18 year old teen girls.
Build flexibility, strength and also gain control over body awareness and breath to increase overall health.
