s*xual assault – witnesses wanted. Do faith schools demand parental financial contribution ? Smug Facebook posts? Corner shop incident – staff rude?

Last Updated on : 15th February 2016

Dear NappyValleyNetter,

“But you make these emails up, right?”

I know I’ve written this many many times before but it’s a question I’m constantly asked as so many of you refuse to believe my husband is such a numpty.

And my answer is always the same. Its. All. True.

Take our forthcoming skiing holiday.

Mr NVN decided our entire chalet party, both young and old, should have a “tour T shirt”.

The only problem was the cartoonist he found on the internet, whose brief was to create a character called “Snow Weasel” for these shirts, had a rather wacky sense of humour.

I was expecting something small, cute and Disneyeque.

What we got was sly, rat-like and smoking a dodgy cigarette. That in itself was bad enough but in conjunction with the can of beer and salopettes so tight that his weasel credentials were fully on display was more “League of Gentlemen” than “Dora the Explorer.”

“You can’t send children to the airport in those?” I hyperventilated as Mr NVN unpacked the shirts, “we’ll all get arrested.”

“But they cost a hundred quid,” he whined before turning over one over to reveal the slogan on the back.

I honestly can’t reproduce the text in this email here but the only credible explanation is that he ticked the “Stag Party” box on the ordering form.

Here is what you’ve been talking about on NappyValleyNet (Wandsworth):
