Welcome to your NappyValleyNet weekly “What’s On” guide!

Just as the BBC moves seamlessly from the stunning ‘pièce montée’ of The Great British Bake Off to Steve Backshall in leopard print (we’re loving it…) on Strictly Come Dancing, so do we move from one great class, event, fair or performance to the next, sometimes without even pause for breath.  I know I’m not alone in feeling like we’re hurtling towards the end of the year, with Halloween, half term, Bonfire Night and so much more to enjoy on the way!

From dancing and cooking to flick-flacks and samurai – even the regulars keep you on your toes!

Little Gym runs an amazing array of gymastics-based classes for children of all ages with free introductory classes on offer, from the aptly namedBirds for the very little ones to Giggle Worms for 4 to 6 year olds and Flips/Twisters for those up to 12 years old…click here for details

Cookease continues to make little Delias and Jamies of our children with regular classes for 2 to 4 year olds.  They’ll be taking over the kitchen at weekends before you know it – brilliant! here for details

Samurai & Shiatsu for children and adults at Brixton Acupuncture & Shiatsu Space will teach you all about Shiatsu touch and Japanese culture to encourage mindfulness and respect.  All good! here for details

Diddi Dance SW London are going to be coming over all ‘Strictly’ after half term with a ballroom theme for the little ones and their grown-ups.  They say it offers maximum opportunities for cuddles…love it!  They’re offering a free trial class…cha cha cha!…click here for details 

Bach to Baby is coming to St Luke’s on 24th with ‘The Singing Cello’, the instrument said to be the closest to the human voice.  Give yourself and your little ones a moment away from it all with Beethoven, Handel and Brahms for company…click here for details
