All the fun of the Northcote Road Summer Fete! Plus other summery goings-on: Your weekly What’s On guide from NappyValleyNet

Last Updated on : 9th July 2015

Dear NappyValleyNetter,

Welcome to your weekly What’s On guide from NappyValleyNet!

As I write this, Andy Murray is still in it.  As I write this, I remember that this time last year I wrote the same opener, only to have a last minute, “Arrggh, stop press!” kind of moment from my iPhone on the school run when I heard he’d gone crashing out.  Come on Andy, do it for my sanity if nothing else…And do it for NappyValleyNetters everywhere who want you and only you (well, with one other I suppose) to adorn the green turf at Wimbledon this Sunday afternoon.  The Northcote Road Summer Fete never feels so good as when one of our own makes it to the Final (rare, I know).  It just makes what’s an already really good afternoon in the neighbourhood a really, really, really good afternoon in the neighbourhood.  All together now, “Come on, Andy”.  Oh, and if you can see past Sunday and want to know what else is going on, take a look at our calendar and keep on adding to it.  It’s full-to-bursting with summer fun.
