Brissi Closing Today on Northcote Road

Last Updated on : 13th September 2019
Brissi to Close Trading

Dear NappyValleyNetter,

In 2015 we published and printed the very first NappyValleyNet Schools Guide.

Packed full of information on local schools, opens days and application procedures it was a huge success and (as a movie voice-over person might say) it’s now back and even bigger than ever.

So if the fifth incarnation of this invaluable edition has not landed on your doormat over the next few days, and we do ask our distributors to respect no junk mail signs, just drop me an email (click here) and I’ll pop one in the post.

We hope you find it useful and, as always, we’d love your feedback and thoughts as to how we might improve future editions.

Here’s what you’ve been talking about this week on NappyValleyNet…

Simply terrible news from Putney that two have been arrested following the death of a baby (read more). Our thoughts are with the poor child’s family.

Brissi on Northcote Road has closed. Staff were informed on Saturday and we understand that yesterday was their final day of trading (read more).

H. asks for opinions on allowing their young teen to commute to school with headphones on (read more). I did read somewhere that using a phone whilst crossing the road, not wearing a bicycle helmet and being in a car driven by teenagers are the biggest risk to today’s youngsters.

And another teen question from W. whose son wants to share a room with his girlfriend – the girl’s mum is happy, W., much less so (read more).

F.’s post about a homeless person in her local coffee shop has prompted some heated debate (read more).

L. would like to find a local experienced private doctor (read more).

AN. asks if anyone is looking for a male au pair who loves children and sport! (read more)

W.’s German au pair has just arrived and would love to meet others (read more). Guten Tag!

And The Language Web’s English classes for au pairs start soon – another great place to meet others while brushing up on English in the process! (read more)
