So, we came through Halloween and into what felt like a Bonfire Night ‘season’, the pretty pyrotechnics scattering our skyline for days on end!  Now it’s full steam ahead for Christmas, especially if our calendar is anything to go by, bursting as it is with fairs, shopping events, parties, pantomimes and more.  As your own diaries fill up, take a look at ours and don’t miss out on any local magic that might be sprinkling its festive fun your way…click here for details

Let’s get straight into the Christmas spirit, laughing all the way…ha, ha, ha!

Christmas fun, festive fairs and crafty creationsThis sounds like a brilliant evening.  The Gardens Nursery School Christmas Fundraising Shopping Event. A Friday evening, lots of stalls, mulled wine and mince pies, a creche for the under 2s and a children’s cinema.  A great night out and no need for a babysitter!…click here for details

 Wandsworth Museum is holding a two day Christmas Sale and Bazaar.  The museum may be temporarily closed but it’s open for festive fun, dressing up and Christmas crafts with lots of present ideas linked to all things Wandsworth – woolly mammoths and Roman coin key rings included!…click here for details

Go along to The Spirit of Finton Christmas Shopping Spectacular tomorrow with over 40 unique stalls, a gift-wrapping service, Christmas tree orders and an apres ski bar!  Vodka luge anyone!?…click here for details

Or how about the Green & Ethical Christmas Fayre at Holy Trinity, Clapham?  Does exactly what it says on the tin, with stalls selling fairly traded, green and ethical products, organic food and recycled wrapping.  The children can try their hands at beeswax candle-making and meet real live animals to pose for a City Farm Nativity photograph, complete with costumes and stable! All you ‘Save the Romany‘ supporters out there might like to know that the Playhouse Playgroup Christmas Fair is on Friday 21st, with lots of local businesses selling their wares while Rudolph grazes on the grass outside.  The recent campaign depleted their funds so go along to help them raise some more!…click here for details


We’re very delighted to be supporting Gambado Chelsea for their very festive party on Thursday 4th December in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital. Think disco, Santa’s Grotto, festive arts and crafts, mulled wine and shopping, shopping, shopping from some exclusive local retailers.  And did I mention shopping? Eddie Catz Wimbleon is holding it’s Santa’s Grotto again this year where you can meet the main man in a Winter Wonderland with a photographer on hand to snap the happy moment.  Elves will help with letter writing to Santa and making a bag of reindeer food before they have even more fun in the playzone!…click here for details

Everyone Bikes is giving us a helping push-off for Christmas and are taking orders for Frog Bikes right now.  They’re all set up to sell you a bike for children aged 2-14 and then look after them until the time comes for Father Christmas to try to fit it down your chimney – complete with red bow on top!…click here for details
