The Eaton House Schools CEO, Mrs Luchie Cawood, has created a new Christmas charity initiative for Eaton House The Manor as a way for the pupils to think of others in the run-up to Christmas. Each day, pupils receive a coloured token to place into three yellow, orange and blue charity boxes. The boys of Eaton House The Manor Pre-Prep and Prep and the girls of Eaton House The Manor Girls’ School can choose from one of three charities to give their token to each day and they are provided with information to help them to make an informed decision. Each token represents 10p for the charity concerned.
At the end of term, the tokens will be counted, and the equivalent money will be sent over the each of the charities. The three charities are James’s Place, supporting men in crisis, the Trussell Food Banks, who help provide food and necessary items to people in Clapham and the surrounding areas who need help over the holiday season, and Ace of Clubs, a wonderful charity that provides shelter, food and clothing to those who find themselves on the streets.
If you would like to give directly to these wonderful charities, contact jamesplace.org.uk, trusselltrust.org and aceofclubs.org.uk. For more information about Eaton House The Manor entry contact Miss Sam Feilding, Head of Admissions, on 020 3917 5050.
