Co-Ed Nursery now open at Falcons Prep Richmond!

Last Updated on : 7th November 2022

We are delighted to announce that our new nursery, The Nest, is open for girls and boys aged 3+. This extension strengthens our already successful Reception and Early Years provision.

Our boys are joined by a cohort of girls forming a class of up to 12 children with access to our outstanding indoor and outdoor facilities, which includes our Astro, Science lab, Innovation Hub, the use of the Richmond Rugby Ground for games and PE and our onsite Forest School, ‘Tumbledown Woods’.

Children in the Nest are taught by specialist Early Years teachers as well as subject specialist staff teaching French, Art, PE, Music and Forest School.

We place each individual child at the centre of everything that we do to enable them to develop to their potential and become a kind and caring member of our community. Falcons Prep was recently inspected by ISI and rated as “Excellent”. Our Early Years was recognised as enabling all children to make “rapid progress supported by an exciting programme of outdoor learning”.

Attendance at our Nursery guarantees automatic entry into Reception for all boys.  As a result, they are assured of a flying start as they move seamlessly into the main school.  Our nursery girls and parents will be fully supported and prepared for both non-selective and selective schools.

If you would like more information or to arrange a personal talk and tour of the school please visit or email

You can also join us throughout the school term at our:

  • Forest School play sessions every Thursday 2-3pm
  • Indoor Stay and Play sessions each Tuesday 9-10am
