I used to take my son to the lovely nursery there and never had any trouble.
It seems that the situation got worse in the last year or two, I can only hope that they caught them and that his death will wake up politicians about the necessity to intervene at the earliest when drug dealing is starting somewhere.

It seems this poor man had a running battle with the drug dealers on his estate and despite the police been informed multiple times nothing was ever done. 

The only times I see our local coppers is when they are waddling across the road from the police station to the local cafe or babysitting the feral kids outside McDonalds on St John's road after school every day. 

Police were called yesterday evening (17th October) to reports that a group of men were fighting in Charlotte Despard Avenue.

 The 46-year-old man was pronounced dead at 6.15pm after being assaulted. 

A spokesman for the Met said: "All other suspects had fled the scene prior to police arrival"and "Enquiries are underway to establish the identity of the victim."
