Wannabe Foodie blogger Perisha Kudhail shares her top spots for weekend indulgence in Tooting...

1 Mud
This was a Tooting original, with its chilled vibes and coffee pride. Mud offers hearty brunch options and excellent service. From the Corn Fritter Stack to the simple Granola Bowl, this is a great place to try if you fancy a steer away from traditional breakfast options. It’s championing fresh ingredients (from the homemade pesto to the in-house chilli jam), to rotating the coffee beans for the ultimate brunch experience.

3 Café Ole
Café Ole is a corner mark for all day brunch. From a good old fry up to a bit of lasagne, Café Ole offers a ranged menu which will satisfy the taste buds of the whole family.  The drinks menu offers a selection of fresh juices and on the go service until 8pm, so you can indulge here pretty much all day. A great spot during the week to work too!

Pooja
Steering away from your Eggs Benedicts and omlettes, Pooja in Tooting is a great spot to grab an Indian Brunch. A vegetable samosa with a cup of homemade chai is a great way to celebrate the breakfast and lunch union. To continue to satisfy your brunch dessert belly, try out their classic Indian Sweets, such as Gulab Jamun.

Brickwood Café
Joining Mud on the Australian breakfast theme, Brickwood Café is a brunch gem among its surrounding food stalls. Brickwood offers a small menu that will satisfy your need to brunch. Breakfast Burrito’s are on offer and you can accompany this with the fresh and delicious coffee.

5 Aubergine

Following suit of fresh ingredients, Aubergine is the place to be at the weekend for lunch if you fancy some midday satisfaction. With family being at the heart of Aubergine, the love is felt in each of the dishes. Try the Bufala pizza if you find beauty in simplicity or go to town on their sea bass. Treat yourself. It is brunch after all.
