Depends where you are in the southwest, but there's a growing and sizeable eCommerce company called Spoke London based out of Richmond.

I've met the founder before while considering a role there, and was impressed by him and the vision of the company, as well as what I perceived as a family-friendly company culture.

Obviously, Richmond isn't that close to all of NVN, depending on where you live!

If possible, try to get a job that has something to do with your major. Even better, if you can--start a business of your own. I put myself through school (well, the last three years of school) by starting and operating a small advertising agency that catered to local businesses, college organizations, saving coupons and individuals. I did print ads only, and I had a stable of art & photography students that clients could choose to work with (or not) if they needed art/photography. That and a part-time job in the Business Library (plus the occasional selling of plasma, when times were really tough) got me through. You would not BELIEVE how impressed interviewers were with the fact that I had started my own business. That was probably the best payoff of all.

I want to do the part time job but can’t be work under some subordination that to order me for the working timings. Job to giving the reviews on the different assignment masters review website is having no subordinate the employee.

Hello,

You might want to get in touch with the Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce.
http://www.wandsworthchamber.org/

There are lots of networking events in Wandsworth that you can come to to pitch the type of clients you are looking for. It's very relaxed and friendly.

Local Businesses - Part Time Opportunities

by Lily85 » Fri Jul 07, 2017 1:37 pm

Hello
I am a new mum to the area and currently work at a large corporate in a consumer insight role but am looking for a career change.

Is anybody aware of any small businesses operating in the local area perhaps operating an e-commerce site or a small start up that would need extra help in any form? Or even if anybody can help with names of small businesses in the area that I could then send a speculative application to.

I realise this is a very vague request but appreciate any help to gather a list.
Thank you so much
