What's your fave playgroup/activity for baby?

If it's not too far for you Tooting is heaving with playgroups and children's centres. Www.tootingbaby.co.uk covers Balham as well and lists all the activities by time and day.

Also recommend Sing and Sign in the Romany Scout hall.
And the Friday playgroup at Broomwood Methodist Church.

It's a drop in..open to anyone..very friendly and welcoming. Prices vary depending on how many children you have and whether you are a mum or carer. Cheaper for mums.. but no more than 2.50.

We went to tin pan annie on clapham common north side.. I found it best as the times were good around nap times in the early days.

I highly recommend the salvation army playgroup near the ram brewery in wandsworth.They have a dedicated baby room full of bright clean toys. It's one of the best playgroups I have been too. Every Tuesday.

I'm on the lookout for playgroups (or other activities) for my 9 month old baby.

She's already doing Hartbeeps and Monkey Music - but I wondered if there are other playgroups NVN users would recommend?
