Another vote for let’s act! Very personal approach, and have been fantastic during lockdown. My daughter loves it. I’d follow their Instagram and contact Miss Amy if you have any questions, she is so helpful.

My daughter absolutely loves attending let’s act, it’s one of the highlights of her week. It is LAMDA focused, encouraging all to do it, but in such a way the children don’t feel any pressure. My daughter left her exam last year asking to do it again straight away and has grown in confidence. They all have parts in any productions and all feel included.

Let's Act vote here as well.
We did over 3 years of stagecoach. it was ok, but the groups are very large so DC never got a part whereas Let's Act has much smaller groups so all children have a part from the very start.
Also let's act includes Lambda group exams preparation for most classes, you don't have to pay extra or attend extra classes (only for solo exams).

Hi, we've also done both and I would recommend Let's Act. My daughter has just got 2 drama scholarships at senior schools and the LA team were amazing and so supportive. We did Battersea Stagecoach when she was younger as that's what her friends were doing, but personally I found it a bit chaotic and the, lady running it a bit icy.... and I'm a super strict / take no nonsense ex-teacher mum & so I'm not one that thinks all kids are precious darlings and should be treated with kid gloves.

We moved to Let's Act when she was in Y4, but I wish I'd done it sooner. She does 3 hours of drama, dance and singing on a Saturday and she absolutely loves it. (They have a range of options if 3 hours is too much. ) The team are warm, professional and caring and all clearly very talented themselves. They run clubs in half term and they go above and beyond in my view, particularly during the lockdowns. If you have any other questions, then feel free to DM me.

Without question, it’s Let’s Act. It’s not a big chain and is run by a dedicated team of wonderful teachers who know the children well and can spot and nurture their individual talents and strengths. We’ve been attending now for years and watched our son grow in confidence and make close friends with fellow students and teachers alike. An amazing school that’s more like a family! No comparison!

Stagecoach - Battersea School is brilliant . My daughter loved her years there . They also offer LAMDA and put on terrific shows .

Will second/third Let's Act.
My son has been with them for almost 3 years now.
He is encouraged to do Lambda as well which will help in secondary school applications 🤞🏽

Let’s Act is amazing. We’ve also done stagecoach but personally I prefer Let’s Act.

I'd absolutely recommend Stagecoach, I myself went to the Battersea school and now my little one is just desperate to join! I haven't always heard the best things about Perform.

Which acting school would you recommend for kids to start drama classes around Clapham? Many thanks!
