looks like only one unsatisfied customer though. We love adventure island and when we were there last week there didn't seem to be a minute when someone wasn't clearing up the tables. They even cleaned out the ball pit. My son points out the car/bus window now at his friends Bertie and Boo and starts singing the song as we go past. Streatham would be great

mummyhelp are you going to the same place as the rest of us?! I have pretty high standards when it comes to cleanliness and I don't think it's dirty at all. The soft play is spotless and so is the cafe, the staff are really friendly and I think it's generally good value for money. The story time is fantastic and amazing value.

Bertie and Boo, we love you and we would certainly use any new venue that you set up. Keep up the good work ;)

Think Bertie and Boo will sign off for now..thought it might be quite fun to chat and discuss whats going on and get excited with some like minded mums about what we could create together...forgot there can be some spikey comments out there.. We will endeavour to to make Bertie and Boo Adventure island a magical place to visit. Thank you to every one else and hope to see you for some play time soon.Bx

I love Bertie and Boo. We had a very popular party there for my 5 year old and as a result other parents in my son's year have decided to do the same. I choose to travel from Streatham to the one in Balham, and will be delighted if they open one here in SW16. Very surprised to hear there's someone who doesn't like it!

The place is a dump! Great if it's raining , you happen to be passing by or a friend suggests it as you want to catch up. It's filthy though. They vaguely wipe the tables but the play area is grubby. The food is overpriced £2.50 for a distgusting cup cake and over £300 for a party there. Hello!!???

Previous mothers worry re: lots of Bertie and Boos and which ones she's going to get for her party... response...Don't worry..we never 'hire in performers' at Bertie and Boo..we are a little theatre company who have been performing magical parties for over 10 years and rehearse all together every Monday and Thursday evening with tea and chocolate brownies. All our performers adhere to a strict sliding appraisal system which Bertie and Boo set and all of us have been with us the company for ages..performing up to 6 shows a week..(this week we have 24 shows going out!) All our Boos have to be under 5ft 4, have blonde hair and be petite in build..in keeping with the brand..which is hilarious on Saturday mornings when they are all lined up ready for parties in the same costume! I hope that eases your mind..you won't be disappointed. I for one..am very talented! :>

Streatham is in need of more child friendly places. Would really welcome a Bertie & Boo soft play in the area.

I've booked them twice and had different people but they were all fantastic! I'm even considering booking them again. Don't worry you won't be disappointed!

We didn't hire them but a friend and I had a joint birthday party at Adventure Island a couple of weeks ago for our kids' 3rd birthday. We chose the 'ordinary' package, ie not the magic show as they said it might be a bit much for their age. We thought they did a fantastic job and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. 'Captain Bertie' was very good. As the previous poster said, they're not going to hire anyone rubbish as their reputation depends on quality entertainers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Hope your daughter has a lovely birthday party.
