Kim Swim Logo for white.jpg

We've had several people ask if Kimberley Swim Clinics will be operating week of 12 April.   Unfortunately we won't :(

We are hoping to be up and running (or rather swimming) again by May Half Term.

To deliver our swim clinics with best possible results, we need to have the option for our teachers to instruct from in the water.  For now, Swim England guidelines state that teachers should only teach from poolside.  We want to ensure that we are operating in a safe and comfortable environment with changing facilities and viewing areas in use.

So for these reasons we are holding off a little longer.

We know for some of your children it's been a long time since they've had swimming lessons and for some there has been a delayed start to their swimming journey.  Rest assured that when we can get back to the pool we will get your children up to speed with their swimming.

Kind regards
Kimberley

Just to add, for those of you that may be thinking about trying KSC, I can’t recommend them enough. My youngest daughter had a water accident when she was 2 and we could barely get her in the water after that. After a couple of water confidence courses, she was super happy in the water and is now very confident. The coaches are so patient and I think doing consecutive days really helps consolidate the learning. My older daughter had such a positive experience, she developed a love of swimming and now you can’t get her out of a pool ( COVID permitting ). 😃

Thanks for keeping us posted. That’s such a shame but those of us that know you, know you always put safety first. My girls have got so much out of Kimberley Swim Clinics, having done a few now, and I can promise you, we’ll be back in Feb! x

After extensive consideration we will NOT be running Kimberley Swim Clinics this October Half Term.

We have every intention of being back in the pool in Feb 2021- venue and Swim England guidelines allowing.  We hope to see you then, when we will help your child catch up with their swimming.

In the meantime we hope you are able to get to a pool for family swimming. Most of the local leisure centres are operating a booking system for swimming at the moment.  If you can find the time do get booked in.  You'll find the leisure centres more organised and cleaner than ever before!!  Casual, fun, family swimming can do wonders for a child's confidence, aquatic skills and swimming stamina.

See you in Feb!

What about Mohammed Swim school?

My children go there and you get a whole hour for less what you’d pay for half an hour!!!

Excellent teachers and very clean swimming pool in Morden.

After much deliberation, I booked Kimberley’s swim school this Feb half term for my nine year old boy, who was scared of being in water. He’s on the spectrum and has had nightmares about school swimming lessons and we still have issues with hair washing at bath times. The pool environments also cause him anxiety due to the noise levels, splashing etc.

So, you can imagine our utter surprise when Kimberley’s instructor made him feel so relaxed and safe in the water that he’s a changed boy. He was literally beaming from ear to ear and running from the car to get into Ernest Bevin for his swim class.

Kimberley listened to my concerns and allocated him to a water confidence class with children of a similar age to him so he wasn’t with very young children. Tomasz, his coach was amazing with him; gentle and reassuring. He did wonders with our son’s water confidence in just one week and really helped him with his confidence in general. I can’t thank Kimberley and her team enough. I’ve booked him for another week in the Easter hols as he’s got the swimming bug now! I can’t recommend Kimberley’s swim school enough; for making it easy to book a class, for going to the trouble to accommodate a child with ASD and caring enough to make it a fun experience for him.

My children did one week with Kimberley swimming clinic too. I’m really impressed on their improvement.

Nice team of coaches.

Will definitely sign them up again.

My son just completed a KSC summer session last month and we couldn’t be more pleased. He already loves the water and has lessons with Leander Swim Academy but KSC really confirmed his love for the sport. Amazing instructors, that really took the time to refine techniques with each child and made sure classes had variation and were filled with fun - as they should be ! My son learned a ton over the week and we will surely be back :)

Thanks Kimberley!! 🙌

I entered the competition on Nappyvalleynet for a free session of Kimberley’s swim clinics and to my absolute delight I won! We are big fans of these swimming lessons and my daughter has attended the clinics on a number of of occasions. All the swimming instructors are fantastic with the children and she improves so much at each lesson.

Thank you to nappyvalleynet, Kimberley and her team and can’t wait for the next clinic in July!
