Kludzik.   It's a plus! An extra chromosome.  Don't miss out on your beautiful child. Don't let your other children miss out on a wonderful brother or sister.  Don't let your niece and nephew miss out on a fabulous cousin.  True love is unconditional. https://dontscreenusout.org/

Also recommend the Fetal Medicine Centre. Hugely worth it in my mind - both for the scan (utterly different experience from NHS) and the Harmony test.

I would highly recommend the Fetal Medicine Centre on Harley Street - I’ve been there for both viable pregnancies and they couldn’t be more professional. If you’re not yet 10 weeks, you can book a package that includes a viability scan, Harmony Test, and nuchal scan (even if you’re having an NHS one too) for £400. If anything comes back abnormal they will do CVS or amnio free of charge.

I highly recommend getting the Harmony test at the Women’s Wellness Centre near Chelsea and Westminster hospital. They’re all lovely and very professional. The results came back fast - had the test on Thursday evening and the test results by Tuesday afternoon. It’s not cheap (close to £500), but I had a previous miscarriage and I’m over 40 so wanted to find out early (was 11 weeks at the time) if there were any issues this time. Also, as part of the process they do a dating scan (so you get an opportunity to see the little one) and you can choose to find out the gender.
