Try Deco Upholstery, based in Tooting, but who cover most of South London.

Very reasonable prices and excellent quality of work.

They have a website you can see examples of their work.

I can highly recommend Ugo di Palma (07908 413960), who has been recommended by others on NVN in the past, as well as the friend who told me about him. He's charming, reliable, local and did an excellent job on a 1930s armchair for me which he ended up having to reupholster completely as well as cover. It looks absolutely stunning. Just don't make him TOO busy as I have some other pieces of work coming up for him myself!!!

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good upholsterer who would be willing to do a few fairly small jobs plus one chair recovering? I need a padded cushion for a dining table bench and for a sofa seat pad to be cut to a different size and the covering adjusted. I may also get a wing back chair recovered in a different shade fabric. Preferably someone local who won't charge an arm and a leg. Many thanks.
