If you're struggling to find, give TaskRabbit a try. Its a platform with lots of tradespeople on there, including movers. You can find someone available for your date and time you want, and see their rates as well as all the feedback/ratings up front.

I've used TaskRabbit for numerous house things over the past year, and always reliable so far.

Can highly recommend Cavendish and Country, they moved us in 2014 out of London to the Shires and were absolutely brilliant. Packed up everything and delivered safely without any hitches at all.

Second Cavendish and Country. They moved us last week, my mum 3 weeks ago and are coming today to collect the boxes. Polite, fast efficient and friendly. Very reasonable price we thought, nothing too much trouble. Their movers are carefully chosen and work well as a team and Clare in the office has been very helpful and friendly too.

This company moved us recently and were amazing www.rutherfordslondon.co.uk.

I strongly advise you give them a call. Way better than our previous movers. They were very straight forward, friendly and hard working and took really good care of our stuff. Good luck!

Endless googling of local removal companies is totally twisting my melon

. Could anyone with recent experience please enlighten me on whom to choose so I can finally stop reading all the dreadful removal website shpeel.

I am moving to a house in the Abbeville road area of Clapham from a 2 bed flat in Putney, moving everything inc all furniture. Will require packing as well a moving.
