I am looking into extending the lease on an ex-council 3 bedroom maisonette in battersea. The valuation would be around £550k and the lease has 88 years remaining.

Does anyone have any experience of this and can give an idea of the cost of the extension. I am aware of the online lease extension calculators but wonder what the actual figure ends up at.

I am looking to serve the section 42 notice myself and wonder if someone else has done this and what their thoughts are vs using a solicitor.
