Hello,I am a local psychotherapist based in Clapham where I have been working for 25 years.I don't really understand why people feel they have to trek up to somewhere like Harley St whenever these issues such as removed as this is a word used by spammer rear their destructive head.I presume the main actor in this drama is male, surely what they need to do for the best is to find a good therapist who can help them understand what all this is about and reconcile them to a more wholesome world of responsibility and emotional accountability, difficult stuff for men of course but not impossible, men seem to lose their way a little in life often and need a little help refocusing on the reality around them,as most women are aware of as we know, patience is a virtue and skilled help is vital,James jhmm@btinternet.com

A member of my family was able to stop thanks to going to gamblers anonymous, he was only able to stop once he decided he needed to stop. There are also treatment centres that can help such as Lifeworks in Guildford and the Priory in Roehampton. I have seen someone stop and stay stopped for the last 8yrs so don't lose hope.

As well as seeing his GP and possibly a referral to a local mental health team for initial support and talking therapies, there are gamblers anonymous groups and this clinic which may help.

Try Consultant Psychiatrist Dr Mark Collins based in Harley Street. He focuses on addictions and is a kind and helpful man (who knows exactly what he's talking about). No experience of removed as this is a word used by spammer addiction directly, but addictions can be sorted out. Good luck.
