Yes you are right. In September you choose what you want according to weather. Typically last year most children wore the summer one. Again before Easter break most children had already changed into the summer one.
If you have anymore questions you should contact the parents association FORS, you ll find the email address in the website. There will be a second hand sale before hslf term.

A question for existing Roche parents.......

My son is due to start at The Roche in September and the info pack states "Winter uniform is to be worn by half-term in the autumn term and summer uniform is to be worn by half-term in the summer term", so does this mean that when he starts in September he may wear either the summer or winter uniform?

I would ask the school, but they are closed for the summer now!
