If not sure, you can’t go wrong with white company cashmere bed socks IMO.
I love them, if I’ve got cold toes nothing else compares.

I was given really expensive silk pillow cases, but I don’t like the coolness and smooth texture. It’s very subjective, some rave about them whilst others like me rather not use them.

They are supposed to be great for your skin if you’re a side or front sleeper but I’m not sure I’d want to receive one as a present. I’d want something to match my other bedding. Also I put face cream on at night so I can see it getting ruined pretty quickly.

I bought one for my mother who adores it (and others she has since acquired - no going back to cotton for her!).  Not only does she like the luxurious look and feel of silk but also her fine hair doesn't get flattened on it, in the way it used to be on cotton.  Personally I'm not sure I would like the slippery texture but that's probably just me...

Silk pillowcase. A good Christmas present or not?

Thinking about buying some silk pillowcases as presents for friends for Christmas. Before I do I was hoping to find out if you would think that they are a good idea and if you would like to receive one? They aren't inexpensive so thought best to try and find out before I jump in :-) Any thoughts much appreciated  :D
