Re: New 20mph zone on the A205?

What a lot of fuss over nothing. Set off a wee bit earlier if it’s such an issue to you. If family or friends are worth a visit, a few extra minutes onto a journey should add to the anticipation of the get together. We all know lower speeds mean safer roads. Even drivers, motorcyclists and cyclists ...

Re: What do we want in Balham?

Of course it was dodgy. That was its charm. The Balham High Road site certainly wasn’t good though.

Re: What do we want in Balham?

A shame the rents are so high that it’s mostly chains which can afford them. Part of me longs for the days when Balham was a bit more down at heel, when the Bedford And The Balham Hotel (The Regent) were owned by the same Irish family. Ega on Bedford Hill was a great little late night bar and served...

Re: Wandsworth council first local council in country to issue speeding fines for drivers breaching 20mph limits

Re: Wandsworth council first local council in country to issue speeding fines for drivers breaching 20mph limits

Re: SW11 car fines from a local cyclist's camera

Livegreen that’s clearly and succinctly stated. Of course there’ll be a comeback from Tuppence and Tarquin’s parents at some point. Whataboutery will ensue once again and more anti cycle rhetoric will be spouted. Lycra louts, MAMILS, Road Tax, Cycle lanes, 🙄 “how dare they hit my car window with the...

Re: SW11 car fines from a local cyclist's camera

Some of the responses to the OP really are vile and vindictive. What an unpleasant bunch of people inhabit this place. OP, stay safe and keep on keeping on! 👍🏻👍🏻

Re: SW11 car fines from a local cyclist's camera

All tax payers pay for highways and cycle paths. General taxation covers build and maintenance. Cyclists can't use Motorways because the clue’s in the name. Cyclists have equal rights to be on roads. Get used to it and give them the safe space required so their loved ones aren’t identifying them in ...
