Re: Small house move

I used OIS Removals recently to move and store our downstairs furniture during a renovation. I thought they were really great and much cheaper than the bigger companies. They spent a lot of time wrapping and tapping all our furniture in blankets which I wasn't even expecting. They were also very fle...

Re: Half-day / flexible summer camps for a 5 year old

Youngstars at Alderbrook starts at 8.30 I think. Not too far from Clapham South tube. My 5 year old daughter went at Easter and loved it.

Re: Removals

Hi We recently used Ois removals to move our furniture into storage and bring it back during a house renovation. I thought they were excellent and much cheaper than the more well known companies. All furniture was wrapped and protected with so much care which I really wasn't expecting considering th...

Hi

We have about 20 medium sized packing cardboard boxes which we have no further use for if anyone needs them. Otherwise we'll have to chuck out with the recycling. We are in Balham. PM if you want them.

Re: Independent kitchen company

Have you looked at Higham? http://www.higham.co.uk/
I have just ordered my kitchen from them and have had amazing service so far. You can really bring the price down by choosing fewer but wider units.

Re: Help Save Lochinvar Preschool Playhouse

Oh gosh this is so sad! Both my kids had very happy times at Lochinvar when they were younger.

Is there anything that we can do that might help, such as writing to the council etc?

Has anyone got Steel Crittall Style Doors?

Re: Moving and storage recommendation?

Gentleman and a Van will do your removal and storage under one co tract and it worked out far cheaper when we got quotes using them compared to paying for a removal firm and then storage separately. They were also excellent and would highly recommend.

Re: Moving to Paris for 6 months...

Wow, that's really exciting! We did a similar thing recently and moved out there for a year with our kids who were then 4 and 2. It was amazing and we had a super year. If it's only 6 months I would totally advise you to live centrally. It is much more normal for families to do that in Paris than in...
