Single Key Found on Clapham Common

Hello

I found a single key yesterday afternoon on Clapham Common near Parkgate House school. It was hidden in the grass, so I thought it was a good plan to pick it up. Please let me know if you have lost your key at this location.

Re: High needs baby

Poor you- I completely empathise, as my son was exactly as you describe and it was exhausting. A couple of thoughts: I completely echo what the previous posters have suggested- can a relative (or if you can afford it, a trusted babysitter) take over for a few hours a couple of times a week to give y...

Re: Stammering

I completely agree with the previous poster. My son had a minor speech issue which we tackled in the two terms before he started school. I was advised by an SLT that this was a good time to intervene (he hadn't lost confidence, experienced difficulties with reading yet or in making friends etc, whic...

Re: Door to door sponsorship requests

Oh no- I gave them money too! This makes me so cross on behalf of the charity. Thanks for flagging this, I won't be donating again.

Urgent builder recommendation needed

Hoping someone can help..... We spent a lot of money on a side return extension a couple of years ago and it seems the original building firm (a big name) took an 'unconventional' approach which has left us with contestant leaks and problems- we are now out of their guarantee period. As we have been...

Re: Gluten Free Product Information@2Love Tea& Coffee House

I was the customer who suggested they post here to mention their gluten/dairy free goodies, as my little boy has a range of intolerances and it is so lovely to find somewhere local to take him for an after school treat. They are so helpful and have said they can supply cakes/ treats for birthday par...

Re: Tooth Extraction - 5 year old child

Wow - thank you for the fast responses! I think the dentist is recommending we have it there (which would obviously rule out a general anaesthetic) but open to going to hospital too.

Thanks for the feedback on Glow and so glad your little girl is okay zozodarling2011!

Tooth Extraction - 5 year old child

Just after some feedback. My five year old daughter has been told she will need one of her top front teeth to be extracted, having 'killed' the nerve in a playground accident when she was two. Has anyone had experience of tooth extraction in a child this age? I am nervous that she will be put off go...

Re: More changes on Northcote Road.

I am so sad that Harry and Mary are going, I had tears in my eyes when he told me they are leaving. They are a Northcote Road institution for us and my children and I will miss them hugely- they are the kindest people. Their last day of trading is next Sunday for anyone who wants to say goodbye... I...

Re: Massage for husband

I second the recommendation for Liva at Neals yard on Northcote Road- she's fantastic and my husband who equally likes proper sports massages thinks she's great too.

Re: Opinion on Eaton Manor Girls School

My daughter is at Eaton House Girls school and we are so happy with the school. It is just the right mix (for her!) of a nurturing, kind environment and traditional, academic school. The reception teachers are lovely and really helped our summer born daughter settle into 'big school' life. The singl...

Re: MOT garage?

I followed up on a recommendation from here and went to MWR motors on Latchmere Road. They were really excellent and squeezed me in at late notice for an MOT, The guy who runs it is lovely- I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Re: Please Help Raise Money for Kids Company...

My thoughts exactly h&m. I have donated food/toys/nappies etc to Douglas and Gordon's christmas hamper collection for kids company every year, as I think it is a wonderful charity. But I was confused by your just giving page too, my assumption was that the decorating works would be covered by D&...
