Re: Can Anyone Recommend a Local Shutter Company for Windows Please?

Came on to recommend the Traditional Shutter Company and see they’ve already had a mention! Nice quality and design, they make all their own shutters rather than buying in. We’ve now removed and refitted our shutters twice for building work and they stood up well to that. Happy to recommend.

Re: blackout blinds

I use Easyblackoutblinds which work using velcro pads stuck to the window frame and then a sheet of special fabric that attaches to the pads. Re: sunken trampolines - good idea or not?

We were considering this but decided to get a normal above ground trampoline first for a year or two as a test run. It didn’t get that much use (despite children having begged for it) so I was glad we hadn’t installed a sunken one.

Re: Holiday activities for pre-teens

A few ideas  Rookies programme at Activ Camps (12-14 yrs) The Font bouldering (runs sessions for 12+) All Stars tennis - age groups are 8-12 and then teen, so yours would currently be at the upper end of their group but that would change when they hit 13.  Balham Leisure Centre run supervised junior...
