Youngstars were my go to at that age. The one at St Luke’s is specifically for age 3-5.

They do a 97% job I’d say, especially if you measure the fabric so there’s a bit of excess all round. They can be rolled up quite easily for daily light and s...

Re: sunken trampolines - good idea or not?

We were considering this but decided to get a normal above ground trampoline first for a year or two as a test run. It didn’t get that much use (despite children having begged for it) so I was glad we hadn’t installed a sunken one.

Re: Local intel for the streets Between the Commons (BTC)

Have a chat with some local agents- John Thorogood and Rampton Baseley are probably the best on local knowledge In general streets between Thurleigh and Nightingale have larger houses.  The streets the northcote side of Thurleigh look more similar in size (other than the few double fronted houses wh...

Re: Gymnastics club

My daughter is happy at BDR gymnastics on Este Rd

Others I know of

Re: Barre class

I attend Barre classes at Willow on Northcote Rd and would very much recommend. Some instructors/classes are more demanding than others, happy to share my view on which ones via PM!

Re: How to manage taking children out of fee paying school mid- year

I don’t have direct experience but I imagine the school will find it hard to fill the spaces for the summer term only and therefore may be amenable to agreeing a reduced fee for that term (for them it’s better than nothing). I hope you can manage to keep them in till summer.

Re: Soft furnishings recommendation

We used Beatrice at Ma Maison based in Abbeville area to make curtains, blinds, and then hang. We also chose and ordered curtain poles through her. Very happy with the results. I found the fabrics myself but she can help with this if wished.
