Re: Repointing / brick refurbishment

Hi - I'd highly recommend David of Boutflower Brickcleaning (v. local) who was recommended initially by my next door neighbour.  If you pm me I'll give you my address and you can take a look at his work on our house.  Made a huge difference.

Re: Local curtainmaker required

I've used Gerry Sykes (Mitcham).  Lovely lady and has made some super blinds and curtains (including some very large ones) for me.  I've recommended her to friends too.

Re: Educational Psychologist Recommendation

Hi - My son's school suggested he had some further investigation by an Educational Psychologist soon after entry at year 7.  I took a poll of my friends with experience and was recommended Carmel Durkin who works out of Children's Therapies (in Putney I think ).  She was great - she did the assessme...

Re: Full Time Nursery in SW12 / Clapham South

Both my children were full time at Nightingales Nursery which is hidden at the back of St Francis Xavier College (entrance Malwood Rd) and loved the small cosy feel about it. They kept asking to go back for years. Long standing staff which I think is always a good sign. http://www.nightingalesnurser...

Re: Making a Ring! Looking for ring/diamond shops in London and Brighton

Lovely thread! Related - th diamond in my engagement ring (from Hatton Gardens) has come loose and I'm looking for a trustworthy jeweller to service it. Sadly David Simmons in Garrett Lane is closed and wondering if there is anyone else local?
