Hi Emma,

The best yoga in Streatham in my opinion are Anya's classes. Please see http://yogaembodied.com/ for more information.

Enjoy!

Re: Streatham / Streatham Hill

Hi, After living in Balham for five years, we moved to Streatham Hill two and a half years ago. Re: Made redundant on maternity leave?

Hello, This has also happened to me last summer and I agree that it can be a very stressful time. I would recommend having a look at the ACAS website as they have some useful information relating to various redundancy scenarios. I rang ADT and they did say some of their sales agents use this tactic, but still advised me not to let anyone in the house. I also report...

Re: Lunch venue for 13!

Hi,

I realise it's not in Balham, but The Manor Arms in Streatham is very child friendly, spacious and does great food. You can walk there from Balham in about 25 minutes.

Re: Employment lawyer needed

Good luck Karin 1979. I spoke to a lot of different lawyers, ACAS and some legal advice helplines. I can't stress enough how useful it was to get everyone's recommendations. I've now instructed a lawyer to send a formal response to my employer.
