Re: Hockey clubs for 8yr old

If you're willing to go a bit further afield, you could try Tulse Hill & Dulwich or Panthers in Honor Oak, a club which has recently expanded into kids hockey so would definitely have spaces...

I have 2 boys and In the past I've done a rib ride on the Thames (followed by ribs to eat of course!); indoor surfing; indoor skydiving; walking over the O2 (they have to be over 10 for this I think); paintball and my younger son has had or been to parties including Flip Out, laser tag, weird scienc...

I would be interested in some interior shots as I'd like to offer the house for shoots, so we could both benefit. Do you want to PM me? I'm away tomorro...

I'd recommend Spaced In - they were recommended on NVN a while back and I used them 2 years ago. Ben is the contact there.

Re: Making a Ring! Looking for ring/diamond shops in London and Brighton

I would definitely recommend Ring in Brighton - they specialise in modern designs and work with unusual cuts of diamond, such as marquise. They made a wonderful new engagement ring for me when I lost my original, which had been made in HK. They are based in the Lanes, where there are lots of other j...

Re: Hot Tub advice

We have a Hydropool hot tub - it's connected to the electric supply so once you set it up it's always at the correct temperature. We have a self-filtering one; it's worth the extra cost for the added everyday convenience.

Re: Birthday ideas for 14 year old boy

Rib ride on the Thames from by the London Eye? Walking over the top of the O2? My 12 year old has done both of these for parties - great fun. Paintball is also good fun for active kids, but you normally need to drive out of town for it.

Re: HELP!! any ideas for 9 year old boy's birthday party?

My son had a rib ride for his 9th birthday - London Rib Riders is the company I think we booked with from memory. You hurtle along the Thames at speeds of up to 40 knots - v cool! You access the boat from near the London Eye, so you need to get to Waterloo or Westminster tube. The boat can take 12 b...
