Re: For sale - M&S bunk beds that can also be 2 singles

Hello, do the beds flat pack, and would they fit into a large estate car? If so, we'd like them! Thanks, Laura

Re: Parking ticket at tooting leisure centre

You don't have to pay private ones. Read Martin Lewis's info on this (the link above). I had a ticket from a private company a while back. I wrote a letter to them explaining why it was unfair, and stated I would not pay. I received about 8 letters, progressively more threatening, then they stopped....

Re: H&M maternity range

My experience of all H&M in store maternity is that it 's very hit & miss! You'd be better off ordering online & sending stuff back. The southside one had very little stock when I went (it was about 2 months ago now, so might have just been a bad day). I've never been to the Wimbledon on...

Re: Local painter & decorator recommendations

Yes they do plastering work. One of our bedroom walls needed re-plastering before decorating. Here's Davor's email address, you could email him with your queries. He usually comes to the house, looks at what you want doing then emails a quote.

Re: Local painter & decorator recommendations

Hi, another recommendation for Davor & his team. They are currently doing work on our house. Redecoration of various rooms indoors, and now doing the exterior of the house. We've used him & his team before and they work very hard, do an excellent job & price is very reasonable. Good Luck!

Re: Underfloor heating or radiators? - advice please

I missed that crucial point about type of flooring! As above post, wood is fine but it needs to be engineered wood, which is what we have. I can highly recommend Bausen engineered wood flooring (I did a lot of research!). Solid wood flooring wouldn't work with wet underfloor heating.

Re: Underfloor heating or radiators? - advice please

Hello, We recently completed a side return extension, and had the 'wet' type of underfloor heating installed in our kitchen. It is definitely more expensive to install, but cheap to run. It's the only source of heat in the kitchen space and it's beautifully toasty! I love it. We also have the electr...

Re: Tips for flying with a 9 month old baby

Hi, I flew long haul (to Boston), with my now 18 month old, when he was 6 months old and I would agree with previous post re. bassinet. My son has always been a tummy sleeper, so wouldn't sleep in the bassinet, but it was useful for putting stuff in! He surprisingly slept for most of the return nigh...

Re: Wood burning stove for house

Hello, We had a wood burning stove fitted last year by Richard Billington. I think his website is called billington partenership, if you google it I'm sure it will pop up. He was recommended on here. We had a Chesneys stove fitted, but he fits all varieties and is more competitively priced. We were ...
