That sounds amazing thank you - I'll PM you. I thought a Doula helped with birth - had no idea they could help afterwards!

Looking after 1st child after 2nd C-section?

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice for me. I had a very traumatic first birth which I almost didn't survive - am planning to have an elective c-section this time round, but the thing really playing on my mind is how I'll look after my first child for the six weeks of recovery. We don't ...

Re: Nightingale triangle catchment area?

Thank you - that is all good to know. It is still a while yet, so will be great to have a look at the new buildings when my little one is a bit older. But reassuring to know that the school has improved and is still doing so.

Re: Nightingale triangle catchment area?

Thanks - I wondered if that might make a difference too, as the crow flies it isn't a huge distance. I guess we'll wait and see, and if not, we'll have to move... having just done our house the way we wanted it!

Re: Nightingale triangle catchment area?

Thank you - I suspected as much. I was really hopeful about Rutherford House until I realised it was so far down the High Rd. It seems crazy that there are so many good Wandsworth primary schools but nothing for an area so packed with young kids. I hope you are right about Alderbrook. We go swimming...

We love it there, it is a brilliant area for small kids, but I'm really, really worried about schools. We have our first down for Hornsby House, but with 2 children and a loft conver...

Re: Super duper blackout blind for baby's room??

Both of those look fantastic thank you!!! I'll look into them. And even better you don't have ugly permanent blinds once small people decide they don't need to wake up at dawn...

Re: Super duper blackout blind for baby's room??

Thank you - I velcroed the blackout roller I got made to the frame in DD's room, but it didn't cut out all the light, so I have been using one of those gro anywhere blinds that suckers to the window. The problem with the velcro/nailing/suckering to the frame options is that you have to leave it in p...

Super duper blackout blind for baby's room??

Hi, due to have my second baby in the spring, and I'm searching for a type of blackout blind that a sleep consultant (yes no.1 was a TERRIBLE sleeper) told me about... She described it as being like an aeroplane shutter, i.e.. sealed in on the sides as you pull it down. Has anyone ever come across a...

Re: Baby Nutritionist Recommendation?

Hi, my friend Sasha is a brilliant nutritionist, she has an 18 month old and specialises in allergies so would be perfect. I've consulted her on weaning and general food issues for my one year old.

Her website is http://www.thefoodcoachltd.com/your-food-coach/

hope that helps. :P
