Re: Rissadan Pre-School Class CLAPHAM

Just seen this posted and it took me on a wonderful trip down memory lane. I took both my two children to Rissadan and it was always the highlight of our week. My girlfriend even used to drive up from leatherhead to join us sometimes-- it was that good. Catherine creates such a warm and fun environm...

Ibiza in October: Good idea?

Hi there, We have a rare opportunity to have a 3 night kid free holiday first week of October. We've been keen to visit Ibiza for years. Has anyone been at the beginning of October? I know it's towards the end of their season but my question is; is it too late? Will things be shut down and empty or ...

Goldleaf did ours and a few of our neighbours. We've all been very pleased with the work.

Re: kids playing football in the next garden late at night

What a frustrating situation. I feel for you.

Friends BTC were partying late into the night and their neighbours sprayed a hose on them..... Aggressive but effective.

Re: Hornsby House or Eaton House?

Congratulations! Your in a very enviable position, they are both fantastic schools. I have a very happy child at one of the schools you mention and had to make a similar choice a few years ago. Without wanting to over complicate your decision, I wonder if there may not be some other factors that may...

Re: Getting your haircut with a baby?!

There is simply no way my kids would sit through a haircut in a salon so I now have a lovely lady that comes to cut/colour/keratin treat my hair at home. Obviously not as relaxing as going to a salon and being pampered but if the alternative is taking a child with you.... I try and schedule it over ...

Re: May villa holiday recommendation

Mallorca is fantastic. Lovely weather, short & relatively cheap flights from London, very kid friendly, stunning scenery. We stayed in villas in both the Pollenca and Soller areas with our two young children and it worked well. The sea won't be all that warm in May, so if you are able to rent so...

Re: I need a new fence!

We used Northcote Fencing of the back of a recommendation from a local friend and were very impressed. Not only were they the cheapest of the quotes we got but they also quoted the shortest time. They brought in a team of four people for a small job so were in and out quickly and efficiently with li...

Dentist in Clapham

I've been told by my dentist that I may root canal treatment or perhaps just a filling but he won't know for sure till he starts the procedure. I'm concerned that there may be a temptation to go down a more expensive treatment route, cynical and probably very unfair I know, but I want a second opini...

Re: Anyone interested in a bin swap?

CJC, I've tried to PM you as I know of another bin going. The PM doesn't seem to want to send, apparently some peoples settings don't allow for unknown people to contact them. If your still interested in a bin do you want to PM me and I'll be able to respond to your PM with details.
