Vegan families in the area?

I've been exploring the benefits of veganism and am wondering if there are any vegan families in the area that can talk me through what the family meals look like. All the info I can find is from Instagram moms living in vans driving across beautiful places, which is nice and all, but I'd really lik...

Re: Kitchen project.....Where to start???

I think you have to start with a builder. I would choose at least 3 to get quotes from - it may seem like a waste of time right now, but they will give you a load of advice and you'll start getting a feel for what you want. In general, you are best to order once you have your builder secured - they ...

HELP! Activities for toddlers in afternoon nursery??

My 3.5 year old is in afternoon nursery (from 1:00-4pm) on Battersea Rise/Altenberg Gardens and I'm having a lot of trouble finding activities for him during the week. Classes in the area tend to run in the afternoons for children in this age group (catering to the morning nursery groups). Does anyo...

Re: secret behind the picture perfect marriage?

@Goldhawk, I was referring to this particular comment:

"Frankly speaking, your blog or fake blog to release a book is nothing millions of us haven't come across a thousand times before, belle du jour started this theme a decad ago."

But I'm dying to know what RL is!!

Re: secret behind the picture perfect marriage?

Seriously?! I don't get some of these replies at all. Apparently, we are still very uncomfortable with women talking about sex. @Elodie, not my thing, but more power to you - IMO, your writing does not come across snobby, preachy or explicit... it's a reflection of your experience, which is what blo...

Re: Friend drinking and smoking whilst pregnant

Almost all of my friends drank limited quantities while pregnant, as the guidelines are not as restrictive here (as compared to the US, for example). When the rules are lax across countries and MANY women did grow up with moms that drank (my best friend's mom tells us she had vodka gimlets every nig...

Re: Ibiza in October: Good idea?

I went to Ibiza sans children at the end of October and the weather was still lovely (not HOT, but still beautifully warm and loads of people on the beaches). I believe the last weekend in October is when the closing parties commence and all the great restaurants are still open. We stayed inland in ...

Re: Advice to stop yelling at my kids

Yes! Read Attachment Play by Aletha Soltis. She may have better books for your children's age groups, but look her up online. She also offers Skype consultations. She is the only person to give practical tips about what you CAN do, instead of what you should or shouldn't do. Changed my relationship ...

private or semi-private swim instructors

Hi,

Does anyone know of a private/semi-private swim instructor who can teach my children to swim at the weekend in any of the pools in the area? I'm flexible with start dates.
I have a 3.5 year old and an 18 month old - not having any luck finding availibility online. Thank you!

Re: I urgently need to de-stress - but how?

reflexology with Trudy! She's amazing - works way better than a massage, you will sleep like a baby and its really long lasting!
Plus she comes to your house!
