Solicitors for property advice - to get tenant out at end of term

My friend is overseas landlord, he has rented out his house to same tenant for years, and is returning to UK next month.  Tenancy formally and properly terminated with 2 months ...

Re: Looking for a good financial advisor

Good points made above by ParmaCrescentDad about transferring, exiting and realising investment products.  People go in with the best of intentions to invest wisely for their dependants, but need to ask questions about what happens when they (original investor) is no longer around physically or capa...

Re: Rutherford House Selfish Parents

I am really really concerned about the safety of the children and other pedestrians crossing that entrance to Tescos.  The road is wide (5 if not 6 lanes across) there is traffic from the South trying to turn right into the Tesco petrol station/store, navigating across fast oncoming traffic, and, in...

Re: Ear Piercing - where to go?

F Hinds jewellers at Clapham Junction, they usually have one of their ear piercers in, but worth phoning in advance to check. Or Claire's, but both only do lobe piercings. With guns. Maria Tash well known for v stylish cartilage piercings, but expensive, and you need to book an appointment. Tattoo p...

Re: Small house move

Aussie Man & Van are part of the Aussie Removals group so they do the full range, so yes I imagine supply packing up and boxes. House Elf are much more all round home/anything services, which may suit as they are flexible and can work out cheaper. I know they would pack, and go and get boxes etc not...

Other moving companies - Aussie Man & Van I have used for moving stuff to a rental out of London as well as moving between storage and rentals. Both companies really helpful, efficient, profe...

Re: Any restaurant recommendations near Streatham Odeon?

I agree - Hood is wonderful, amazing food.

The Hamlet is also really really nice, cosy and welcoming, gets more party like as the evening goes on.

Re: Can you recommend a good Thai Takeaway/Delivery Please???

Like Thai Garden to eat in, just find something lost in the quality when delivered - like the crispiness of prawns in batter/breadcrumbs. I judge a good place on the quality of its beef massaman curry and had the best one ever recently at Kaosarn Tooting High Road down towards Blackshaw Road, proper...

Re: Footy team

One of my boys got the football bug at around age 7/8, exactly the same - wanted to be in a team and playing games. I don't know where you are based but Saturday mornings Broomwood FC I think are on Wandsworth Common, Bolingbroke Road side, don't know about games vs training. Fit4Kidz are/were over ...
