Re: Hi-Spec Kitchen Finishes - what is worth the price?

When we did our side/rear extension, we installed a full sized oven, a steam oven, combi-microwave (ie oven and microwave) and a warming drawer. Granted we used the main oven and microwave the most, but the steam oven and warming drawer came in handy at Christmas time (and to keep the take away warm...

Re: Is it worth buying Miele?

Yes! Most definitely.

We kitted out our new kitchen with Miele but sourced it all either from the Miele outlet in Abingdon (well worth the trip, even more so when they have a sale on!) or kept an eye out on eBay for exdisplay items.

Re: Help needed - bday party locations in Wimbledon

You could try St Mary's Church Hall in the village. We went to a party in the pre-school (Fellowship House) and the space was huge. Garden Hall looks lovely but I believe it gets booked up really quickly. We've also been to a party at St Saviours on Grand Driv...

Re: Recommend made-to-measure blackout blinds? (Like the Velux, not the roller blinds of Argos Ikea etc)

Hi, We are seriously considering getting these for our son's bedroom. His bedroom window is huge so we're having to go for the XL version but even then it seems relatively reasonable price wise etc. A friend has them in her house and they do do...

Re: Movers & Packers recommendation (URGENT!)

Another vote for Burke and Wills although, as someone else commented, they book up SO fast. We were supposed to have moved a few weeks ago (we didn't in the end, long (and expensive) story) and they only had certain dates left. Thanks for providing the measurements and photo.

Hope you find a buyer soon.

Re: Passport

We applied for our son's first passport in May and it was back within 2 weeks. It may well have even been just over a week. I wouldn't worry too much I think the passport office have sorted out the issues they had last year. Enjoy your holiday! 8-)
