Re: Devastated by husband's announcement

Three years ago to the day I was in the same situation. It was slightly different as he was having an affair and I was heavy pregnant with our 2 child. After lots of his friends telling him the grass wasn’t always greenier and counselling we are on the rd to recovering. So if you can talk to his fri...

Re: Unfair on husband?

You sound like you have been having a tough time for far too long, and it can’t be that great for the kids to hear / see. Personally I would write him a letter over a few days / wk and arrange a few date nights / days out / evenings in ;) and if after that he still doesn’t want to make an effort - f...

Re: Nanny plus one

Is the job the same and are her duties the same? When was the last time you gave her a pay rise / bonus? Is your child being effected? Are you willing for he to find Another family? Re: Cleaner - holiday pay?

Re: Have you lost weight and kept it off? Pls share how!

Drinking more water - snacking on greens - cutting out white carbs. Increasing intensity of exercise - as a mum I haven't got hours or the inclination to go to the gym! Highly recommend quick workouts of 45 minutes with the children - like today even in the rain the boy enjoyed seeing mum squating a...

Re: Nanny problem - her child is weeing on our carpets!!

Maybe in this situation but it's very unfair to generalise all nannies+ own child. It's not what the OP was asking advice about. I would say the family I work for choose me so their son had a friend to play with and grow and learn with, which is much more beneficial than anything that I could teach ...

Re: Nanny problem - her child is weeing on our carpets!!

I fully agree that - it's completely unreasonable to potty train when I child is not ready and if she wishes too she should have waited until her holidays. If this was me (I'm a nanny and mother with a child who comes with me!!!) I would be offering to get the carpets / flooring prof cleaned. But I ...
