Re: Eveline Day School - anyone had experience/have any view

Medway Thanks very much for posting. I did worry that the classes were a little too small and the transition to secondary school might be tricky but it helps to know other children have gone on to good secondary schools. Are there adequate sports and music facilities do you think? The building does ...

Eveline Day School - anyone had experience/have any views?

Hi
Does anyone have any experience of or views on Eveline Day School in Balham? There's not much info online (though lots of good reviews of the nursery) and the Ofsted report is 6 years old. We're considering it but would welcome any views from parents who considered it...thanks.

Re: Can you suggest a good removals company?

We've just used Burke & Wills to pack and move, they were fabulous. Not a single thing was broken, everything was labelled well, packed logically and to facilitate unpacking (eg wardrobe boxes with rails, contents of drawers wrapped in bubble wrap if need be but left in the drawers etc). Beds we...

Re: Clapham Picture House to shaft staff?

Ah but the Picturehouses like to give the impression of being the antithesis to the big, bad, soul-less cinema chains, don't they? The reality appears to be they are no more altruistic and have no greater a social conscience. They just show a few more art-house films. Whilst exploiting their staff (...

Re: Easigrass - your experience and costs

We used Easigrass two years ago, they were quick, tidy and the finished product looks and feels great. Haven't had any bumps or drainage problems. The cost was around £1200-1500 I think for roughly 12-15 sq m. We chose one of the more expensive types of fake grass though. I've heard other companies ...

Re: Weekend baby swim?

We take our toddler to Puddle Ducks in Tooting, the teacher who runs it is fabulous, great with the kids, doesn't pressure anyone to do anything they're not comfortable with, uses inventive games and techniques so it's never boring, small classes in a v warm pool. He does a range of baby and toddler...
