Re: Teen Babysitting rates

Thanks for your responses. Much appreciated. We were thinking £7. No taxi likely to be needed as planning on babysitting in roads close to ours.

Teen Babysitting rates

My 16 year old is looking to start babysitting. What is the going rate for someone to babysit roughly 3 or 4 hours on a Frid or Sat evening. Keeps getting asked for their rate.

Thanks

Re: Air raid shelter removal question

We had one when we moved into our house. We asked our builders to demolish it as it was not usable. They wouldn’t give a price and instead would only do it on a daily rate as they said impossible to estimate. . It was v difficult to demolish as it had odd metal everywhere. We stopped doing it when t...

Re: Kitchen cabinet painting

I would make sure the painter understands best way to do this and the paint to use. Our kitchen was installed by Harvey Jones. Their painter did an amazing job and it lasted for 14 years with only the bin cupboard and the cupboards where we keep our cutlery and plates looking tired around the handle...

Re: Recommendations for Orthodontist / any feedback on Battersea Rise Orthodontist Practice

I totally agree with the regular visits and being nearby. Someone who will be able to see your child out of school hours also important, both to avoid missing lessons and if you work, hence the Saturday option also v helpful.

Re: Recommendations for Orthodontist / any feedback on Battersea Rise Orthodontist Practice

I would highly recommend Emmett Hegarty who works at The Dental Spa in Putney. Done an excellent job on my two kids. Works there on a Friday and Saturday.

Re: Recommendation great Bifoldable door supplier

We recently used Cheam Windows. I did a lot of research and got the same brand and spec of window there than a local supplier who was charging significantly more.

Good luck.

Re: Supplier of external doors / windows

We decided to go with Aluminium after much though. Longer lasting and easier to maintain and no painting required! Our French doors are being supplied by Cheam Windows. Good service and good price for Origin doors. Also your payments are staged and final tranche once installed. A couple of suppliers...

Victorian Path

We are looking for an expert in laying Victorian tile paths to help us. We had a new path installed 18 months ago (at great expense) and sadly a local tradesman working elsewhere reversed into our gate post, knocked it over and damaged the path. They guy who did it is no longer working so we need so...
