Re: Exclusive New Year offer - FREE onsite WiFi improvement

Thanks Nappy Valley for organising this great offer. BreezeTech were really great - so thorough, calm, not selling anything, and incredibly good at explaining why we were having wifi issues. Our wifi speed and cover throughout the house instantly improved with his changes. He re-set the router back ...

Re: Great swimming classes for children

I couldn't agree more about Kimberley Swim Clinics. Between various children I've been going to, and watching swimming lessons - highly expensive ones, and public pool general lessons - for over a decade. The Kimberley swim clinics are in another league all together. The teachers are so skilled, so ...

Re: Bike shop for children to try different bikes?

I have just picked my serviced bike up from the Everyone Bikes on Northcote Road and have come home determined to post a positive review on here. The service from this shop is exceptional. They are knowledgable, thoughtful, and passionate about bikes. They went to truly amazing lengths to find spare...

Re: Which GP - Battersea Rise or Heritage ?

I'm also at Battersea Rise and they have been very good for me, however, I haven't had the best luck for my son's care . I don't think there are any pediatricians on staff either. For those of you who posted here, which of the Clinic doctor's do you see for your children's care? Thanks. Hi Ppasha27...

Re: Which GP - Battersea Rise or Heritage ?

We have been patients of Battersea Rise Surgery for 15 years. In that time we've had three children, innumerable of the usual minor family medical moments, and also sadly the dice of life has thrown us a couple of very serious life threatening conditions too. All the way through Battersea Rise haa b...

Re: 8 John Lewis dining chairs

Hi Jill, yes I am still interested. I thought I'd tried to private message you but must have gone awry. Could I pop over sometime to see them?

Hi, I am interested in the chairs. Would you be able to tell me the dimension of the seat at its widest? Thanks

Help - looking for Mohammed - so to speak!

Does anyone know where the famous Mohammed can be found now, who used to teach swimming at Tooting Leisure Centre? I rang up and they say he no longer teaches there, but I'd love to find him for my 4 year old. Best swimming teacher I've ever met!

Re: toddler blood tests

I've used TDL too and agree with all comments. Very good place, very efficient kind nurses (often they are travelling Aussies and Kiwis - the best nurses in the world! And I'm not from down under!) But you do need a doctor to interpret them - I go to a private GP occasionally at Chelsea Consulting R...

Re: this is why we send our children private

NO SCHOOL WILL PROTECT YOUR CHILD AGAINST THIS KIND OF EVENT when a malevolent other child, particularly with the use of social media in hand, bullies them. Do NOT be fooled into thinking that if you pay a school they can 'fix everything'. They can have the kindest and best pastoral care in place, b...

Hi there, we have a second hand girls purple Apollo FS24. We bought it for about £120 at Halfords and it was great for our daughter from about 8-11 (she's tall for her age). Still in perfect working order although has a small tear on the side of the seat and some minor rust that would clean off I'm ...

Selling scrap gold!

Does anyone have any advice on selling unwanted bits of gold jewellery? I understand gold is a wanted commodity at the moment and friends have reported getting a nice cheque in return for unwanted bracelets from old boyfriends of 20 years ago! But I'm a bit wary of wandering into a shop with my fist...

Re: Anyone have a baby/child with a tracheostomy?

Hi Suzy I'm really sorry you're going through this. What hospital is your baby in? My son was in St George's Neonatal unit and I know a few people there who are absolutely excellent to talk to. My name is Anne and my mobile is 07885309753. My son had a rare muscle disease and there were lots of brea...

Re: Bolingbroke Academy newsletter...

Thanks so much for posting this blog - it's really handy to see what's happening there. It's a bit painful though to read that the head is off on a fact finding mission to New York and Albany to see how they inspire children at school in the US - don't we have enough good schools in the UK to have a...
