Re: Marriage counselling

Hi
I would recommend Pam Custers. She is based in Wimbledon. http://www.pamcusters.co.uk
Good luck, working with a counsellor is often dependent on whether or not you "click"...difficult to tell at first admittedly but keep pursuing until you both feel happy to work with them.

Re: Recommended Estate Agents

I had a good experience selling my flat through James Pendleton, Wandsworth Common last year....even when the first buyer pulled out after 8 weeks  they worked exceedingly hard to find a replacement buyer which they did within 10 days and fortunately the sale went through to completion.

I have had ME/CFS and periods of clinical depression for 8 years. I don't have children but am happy to discuss what has helped me. Feel free to PM me.

Re: Depression (Male)

You can certainly go to a Private GP to be assessed for clinical vs reactive depression and choose not to keep your NHS Doctor informed. Yes they may or may not offer anti-depressants and CBT therapy but the former doesn't necessarily work for everyone even if you do try and switch brands. I am spea...

Re: Suggestions for a venue for 80th birthday

Hi! Although you mentioned you didn't want a bland church hall, there is a nice church hall at St Mary's Church, St Mary's Road in Wimbledon Village. Or if you know anyone who is a member of the Royal Wimbledon Golf Club, the food and dining there is very nice and all on the level. You need a member...

I would recommend Pam Custers. My husband and I have seen her in the past, for other reasons, but she is a good relationship counsellor.

Good luck.

We are currently awaiting to exchange and complete on the sale of our flat, on which we accepted an offer pre Brexit result. We are trying to buy a house just a few miles outside of London, but within the M25 in the Epsom/Ashtead area. We have been looking since the beginning of the year as we had a...

Re: Estate agent fees - selling

My flat is currently STC. It is the first time I have sold a property. I initially went with one of the Lavender Hill Estate Agents and yes was partly attracted by their low fees and short contract. After two months I moved to one of the local Northcote Road based Estate Agents and they sold the fla...

Re: Virgin Active by the tip

I am a member of the Smugglers Way VA also. You can pay to park in the Riverside West underground car park, which is what we used to do before they offered free parking at B&Q. You could try parking at Homebase, they have free parking for 180 minutes. However, I have no idea if they monitor you ...

SwimForTri swim out of Putney pool on a Sunday night. As a previous poster said, Spencer Swim Club also swim out of Putney on a Sunday night at the same time and I think early on Saturday evenings too.
