Re: Left out of a girls holiday to Ibiza

Often it feels like we ought to be able to take this sort of thing on the chin when we're adults, but I can absolutely understand how you feel. Maybe you should ask them why you weren't invited, otherwise it might eat you up for ages. It would me.

Good luck

Update on Harris Academy Battersea anyone?

Does anyone have kids at Harris Academy Battersea? There doesn't seem to be much recent feedback on this school, which seems to have made great improvements in recent years, if you are to believe the hype. Would any parents / carers be willing to share your impressions of the school please? Thanks i...

Re: A baby at 40

Regarding the finances/ 'you don't have to put them all in private education' point - you may want to read the other thread on here (entitled 'Only afford to send one to private school') about that before you make a decision. If you want to educate 3 children privately then finances have to be a con...

Re: Clapham Junction redevelopment plans revealed

I love that the stations of Kings Cross and St Pancras have been restored so beautifully and are now a fantastic part of our city's architecture. Wouldn't it be great if they could make Clapham Junction station great too. Hurrah!

Re: Awaiting miscarriage any advice?

It's difficult to know if my experience is normal, as people tend not to go into the nitty-gritty of what really happen...

Re: Is anyone pregnant at 43? are all eggs bad now?

Hi Savannah. I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriages, I really feel for you and understand what you're going through. When trying for our second child I had three miscarriages between the ages of 38 and 40. The first one was particularly traumatic and I was in hospital overnight. The subsequent...

Re: Heathbrook Primary School. thoughts?

We have only just started Reception there this year so it's a bit early to say but I'll give you my initial impressions. I have to admit that it was my second choice after Clapham Manor (most oversubscribed school in Lambeth!) and we were disappointed not to get the school of our choice but actually...

Re: Experienced Nanny available live in/ live out - 5 days p

Hi, sounds like you have a popular nanny!
I am looking for some ad-hoc childcare on 2nd / 3rd October - if she hasn't taken a full-time job by then, would that be of interest? Also I need some babysitting next week. Maybe you could let me know.
Thanks
Sally
