If you don't have coins, use contactless - easier and quicker, and then they won't get your PIN.
Just press:

+ (then wait forever),
Green button (wait forever)

and present card (wait forever for ticket to appear)

Voila!

Please look out for missing 15 year old Hannah Lees

Hannah has been missing from her home in Southfields for a week. Her family and the police are desperate to find her and ensure she is safe. She was apparently spotted at Clapham Junction by a schoolboy yesterday. She may be around Clapham, Brixton, Stockwell. If you see her call 999 immediately and...

Re: Private School scholarships

If your son is into anything like DT or design, inventing, or is entrepreneurial, Whitgift offer ‘DT’ scholarships that you can apply for. As I understand it, for that, they’re looking for children who take initiative, think outside the box, anything out of the norm

Re: Wood burning stove

Please don't! Someone near us has one, and it has 2 effects on us:
1) My asthma gets worse - it's as if someone is smoking near me
2) Any washing I've put out stinks of smoke and has to be re-washed - doubly bad for the environment...

Re: Successful prosecution of local man for repeated dog fouling between the commons - hurrah! but is the fine enough?

Well done GuyD73 for doing something about it! I agree, at the very least the offender should be charged the full legal costs, otherwise, as you say, we are all paying for them to be prosecuted. Making them pick up dog poo for a whole day would also be brilliant!

Re: Advice on pupil behaviour needed

I'm unhinged!!! Loool... Seriously!!! After the post you wrote about a teenager burping, you're calling me unhinged. I'm surprised you haven't asked for a line up and fingerprints. Some of the replies too (they are not like us)! Animals, cages, knives.....its all getting a bit out of hand for a bur...

Re: Dolphin House vs Parkgate House

I think Parkgate is great for them when they're little, but we had an experience of bullying later on, which the school didn't seem to be able to resolve. With not very many boys in the class, it's hard to get away from. Hornsby House has been brilliant for my son - he became a different, happier ch...

2nd hand Parkgate Uniform going very cheap!

I have amassed a huge amount of Parkgate uniform over the years (far more than 2 children could ever need, not quite sure how!), which I would love to get rid of. I've itemised what I've got below with prices. They are in varying stages of condition, I've put g for good condition, p for poor (poor i...

Re: Dr Nikolaou C&W IVF - any experiences?

I did 2 rounds of IVF for secondary infertility. The 1st was at C+W under Mr Nikolaou, the 2nd at ARGC, where my 2nd child was conceived. They were hugely different. ARGC do daily blood tests, and prescribe different drugs depending on the results. There is also the controversial 'natural killer cel...
