Re: Dog groomers Barking Betty

The Handsome Hound (at the back of The Dog House) on Emmanuel Road is fantastic and great value too. We’ve been taking our dog since he was a puppy and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. It’s well worth the journey there.

Re: Puppy training and puppy/dog sitters in the Southfields area

We’ve just finished a six week puppy course with Diane Kasperowicz who runs Superhounds. She holds her sessions at the Welsh Chapel, just behind Debenhams and if I could go back for more sessions, I would. She’s really given me a huge confidence boost with walking my puppy off lead, and everything s...

Re: Dishwasher repair

John (I can’t remember his surname) was recommended by a friend and was brilliant. Very reasonably priced and solved the issue in no time at all. He was an engineer for one of the big brands for years. ‭07850 092156‬

Re: Childrens Yoga

Not a class as such, but I’ve been recommended Cosmic Yoga on YouTube and my kids love it!

I’m sure there’s a class somewhere near Balham station too...if I find the details, I’ll send them on.

Re: best Keratin hair treatment and salon??

I go to Nico and Rhys in Streatham and highly recommend all of their services - while the salon is relatively new, I've been going to Nico for years and think he's great (Vivienne too). Their website is http://www.nicoandrhys.co.uk/services/ and they offer a 25% discount for new clients. Duh! I've ...

Glazer/handyman recommendation please!

We have a crack in an internal window thanks to someone being a bit heavy handed with a blackout blind...can anyone recommend someone who would be able to replace a single pane of glass please?

Re: Training when pregnant...recommendations please

I know you're looking for something a bit more sweaty, but I'd recommend giving Jane's classes a go. I went throughout both of my pregnancies (and to her antenatal classes after no.1) and felt suitably challenged throughout. I also felt safe knowing that her teachers were both knowledgeable in their...

Re: Boys hair cut

I take my eldest son to my hairdressers but my (slightly unruly) two year old goes to Sally's on Northcote Road. She's so calm with him and despite him thrashing about, he always looks so smart afterwards. She has a little TV for them to watch and you can book online too. Pro Kut used to be a firm f...

Re: Wanted!!!!

It is! Mountain Buggy have said that they'll replace the ripped seat too, although I won't have it for another 2-3 weeks.

Did you want to see photos or have a look in person? Let me know and I'll message you my details (if possible).

Re: Wanted!!!!

No worries! I should have checked to see whether the message had posted.

I'm not sure what price to ask for it, I'll need to have a look to see what they're going for. If you wanted to take a look and make an offer, you're more than welcome to :)

Re: Wanted!!!!

I tried replying to this a week ago, but clearly it didn't work :( I have a Mountain Buggy Duet which is in great condition and was a godsend after no.2 arrived. It has a few scuffs here and there and one of the seats has come undone at the seams, so I'm currently liaising with MB to see if they wil...

Re: second hand mountain buggy duet

Possibly. When do you need it by? And how much are you looking to spend? Our eldest has outgrown ours, and we've cleaned it up ready to sell. It has a few scuffs and isn't perfect, but is in a really good condition. The only thing is that one of the seats has ripped and I'm currently in touch with M...
