Re: Frameless - a must-see

I'd say that's a great age and she might recognise some of the art too which would be an added bonus! I think it's a great introduction to art but also pretty awesome for anyone who enjoys anything visually captivating. Plus it's right at the top of Oxford Street, so fun for some looking round the s...

Re: Frameless - a must-see

I've been and though it is expensive it was brilliant and we all loved it.  I went with a friend rather than husband so that was less expensive for each family as we each paid for ourselves and our children, and we felt it was well worth it and way better than the Van Gogh experience that we'd been ...

Re: Freestanding bath and taps for sale

Half price sale! Offers in the region of £450 We'd love this bath and Crosswater taps/showerhead to go to good use rather than the scrapyard as they're in really good condition. The builder will be taking it out on Tuesday so it would be available for collection that afternoon, or we can keep it fo...

Freestanding bath and taps for sale

We will be removing this bath for a refurbishment on 24 January, together with the taps/shower which are Crosswater.  Unfortunately we don't know the brand of the bath but based on online research of similar good quality baths, we will consider offers in the region of £600 for the bath and £300 for ...

Re: Worrying incidents in the months before Sarah Everard's disappearance. Are they connected?

Sounds very frightening, Mal.

Have you reported it to the police on the number above? I imagine Tesco will have CCTV footage which could prove very helpful to them, and very easy to find as you know the date and time you were there.

Re: can someone please clarify, are cleaners allowed in lockdown

The government website, as mentioned by the PM last night, has full details of what we all can and can't do: www.gov.uk/coronavirus Here's the relevant part to answer your question: Going to work You may only leave your home for work if you cannot reasonably work from home.Where people cannot work f...

Re: Rubbish all over our green spaces

I completely agree. My husband went for an early run at the weekend and came home angry-of-Wandsworth at the state of the common and the hideous job facing the one poor lone council worker left to clear it all up.  I was up at the nets on Clapham Common with my son yesterday morning and had a chat w...

Re: Outdoor kids entertainer

Open Air Fit runs brilliant children's parties. My boys had two or three over the years and Mel and his team were always so good with all the children - really engaging overall and great games, always resulting in a bunch of happy, smiling and nicely worn out kids! Also good value compared to someth...

Wanted - drum kit

We're looking for a drum kit for our son (age 11) and are open-minded at this stage about whether we go for electric or acoustic. I've been told the Roland electric kits are good and for acoustic, Pearl, Tama, Mapex or Yamaha.

Does anyone have one that they're looking to sell?

Thanks

Senior Schools Fair - open to all

Eaton House The Manor on Clapham Common North Side is holding a Senior Schools Fair on Tuesday (5th March) from 6pm to 8pm. It's open to all - you don't have to be at the school to go along and children are welcome too.  Fifty schools are going to be there, so it's a great opportunity to take a look...

Re: Non-chocolate advent calendars - where????

I bought one this afternoon from the very brilliant Postmark on Balham High Road opposite Waitrose. Love that shop. Such good stock and so of course they've thought of lovely traditional advent calendars. And then I popped into the supermarket and grabbed a couple of chocolate ones to keep the peace...

Re: Trinity Fields Fireworks and other fireworks around Earlsfield and Wandsworth Common

I heard last night from a friend at one of the schools who share the Trinity Fields fireworks that they've been postponed until Monday because of a stormy forecast for Friday evening.

Re: Swimwear and Lingerie Sale: Loyalty card event at Amelie’s Follies

I wanted to post as I called in at lunchtime and had the best swimwear shopping experience of my life! Catherine was brilliant at sizing me up, quite literally, and popped in and out of the changing room with bikinis to try, each one good for my shape and size. I have come away with a bikini and swi...
