There was a recent topic where lots of removal companies were recommended;

Re: Removals

We used the 'good removal company' the details are on their website; www.goodremovalcompany.co.uk/ They were brilliant and went to every length to get our furniture to fit through the door. They were very professional and the cheapest of 4 quotes we got by far, over £250 less than the next quote. I ...

Re: Elective c-section - 2nd pregnancy

Hi there, I decided to have an elective C section with my second baby after a traumatic labour with number 1 ended in a C section. I saw an amazing obstetrician at St. George's who did try and sell the VBAC idea to me. However she listened to my concerns and didn't in any way try to force it. My ele...

Re: Nanny contract for on-the-books/off-the-books

All the extras should be put through the books too. I recently gave my nanny cash for her birthday present (at her request) and even this had to be declared and was taxable. I use a company called PAYE for nannies who work it all out for me for about £100 a year.

Re: Looking for reasonable blow drys

I think I am getting in control of my daughters pushing! Mainly by being very aware of her triggers and distracting her. Wi...

Re: Naughty toddler - can anyone help?

Thank you so much for your advice and kind comments. It's so reassuring to know that my daughter is not the only one and that it will pass.

Good luck with your toddlers and hope there aren't too many lapses!

Naughty toddler - can anyone help?

I was wondering if anyone can help / advise or share their own experience of having to deal with troublesome toddler behaviour. I have a gorgeous 26th month old girl who has recently started pushing over other children at play group and on play dates. She has always been a 'spirited' little one, so ...

Re: Day care centres in Battersea - help needed please!

I am looking at nurseries in this area at the moment. I liked Asquiths too, open 7.30-6.30 and it is reasonably priced. Busy bees in riverside west was probably my favourite (really happy babies, lovely outside area and happy staff) but it is a bit more pricey and you have to pay extra for time you ...
