Re: Can anyone recommend a consultant to advise on C section or not.

Also, Patrick O’Brien (Harley Street and UCH/Portland) is brilliant. We had this discussion when the NHS advice was that I should try a natural delivery, and he was incredibly patient and dispassionate about explaining all the options. Good luck!

Re: Laser hair removal

I had laser treatment on my legs (with Harley Medical) and it was very effective. I remember they did say something about hormones - sorry I cannot remember exactly their advice but i think hair can regrow as hormones change. Maybe newer treatments are different but I wonder if you might want to do ...

Re: Indoor plants, succulents, and planters?

Also perhaps try Patch (online) as they have nice plants and planters, and deliver everything to your house planted and ready to go.

Re: Trampoline suggestion - first time buyer!

We have a tiny yard but the small Zero Gravity one we have is brilliant. A geeky point we learnt through trial and error... We had a 4ft one before (different make) and the joints for the poles holding up the net broke after a few months. Zero G have a T-shape joint which is stronger (good idea appa...

Re: Selling/free: Marble hall table and other things

Just adding some photos, apologies for poor quality. The table shows it upside down (you have to screw the brass bit to the skirting board or wall). It is 80cm tall so, when screwed to the wall, it is normal table height (hip height) but you can adjust upwards if preferred. The cushions are very big...

Re: Is anyone else with a small business confused about GDPR?

I sympathise! GDPR is a horrible minefield - good for individuals, but a huge workload for businesses. The good news is that the ICO has said 25 May is not the end (ie not a cut-off) but the beginning, but they do expect everyone to have at least made a start on being compliant before Friday, theref...

Architect/surveyor to prepare lease plan?

Does anyone have details for an inexpensive surveyor or architect who could just prepare a new floor plan (lease plan)? We’re making minor changes to the layout of our garden which need a new lease plan for our freeholder i.e. a very accurate drawing. Not a big job! Thanks so much for any recommenda...

Large lounge cushions/modular sofa (Roche Bobois style)

We wanted one of the Roche Bobois sofas but didn’t have the budget!! Instead I bought a similar one from Maisons du Monde at Christmas 2017, but there are too many sections for our reception room. So, 4x 1m square cushions (2 pink, I brown, 1 purple) are available if anyone wants them, with a 1m bac...

Re: Dolphin House vs Parkgate House

My kids are at Parkgate and it is such a wonderful, nurturing school with an emphasis on kindness and self confidence. I really can't speak highly enough of it. It is true that there are fewer boys but in the first few years at least, that doesn't matter as they all play together. If it seemed to ma...
