Re: Wanted - Melissa & Doug Wooden cleaning set

Hi there,

I don't have a cleaning set but I have an unused toy vacuum cleaner (pink and purple) with batteries not included. My little one never took to it.

Happy to sell for a tenner. Collection in the Tooting Bec area.

Pm or email me if you are interested.

Re: Would anyone be interested in a French Playgroup over the summer?

Hello Star, thanks for your interest. For this coming Tuesday (17th of July) I could start earlier at 9.45am. Would that suit you?

In terms of age range, I'm targeting the 2-4 years old group. However, as it is the holidays, I'm happy for siblings to accompany. (I will have my own older one anyway)

Would anyone be interested in a French Playgroup over the summer?

Bonjour, I've been trying to expose my little one to French, and French playgroups seem scarce. When I did find one, it was very expensive! So I thought I'd start one in our (not spacious) living room over the summer. Would other mums be interested to join? I live in the Tooting Bec area. I'm planni...

Re: Madressah/ Islamic classes

Hi there, The Tooting Islamic centre on the high street offers tuitions for children. The Sunni Razvi on Tooting Bec road near the station, also offers classes everyday. There are also Saturday morning classes at SCHS (on abbotswood road in Streatham) covering Arabic and Islamic studies. I am sure t...

Re: Great swimming classes for children

Another thumbs up for Kimberley Swim Clinic! My daughter was very apprehensive about swimming lessons, but she liked this one. I really appreciated how Kimberley made sure that my daughter was in a group with similar aged girls (she is older than expected for a child who can't swim) which helped wit...

Re: Rats on Clapham Common!

Like OrchardEnd says, people 'feeding the ducks' with bread, are actually feeding more rats, and making the ducks sick too! Even though the ducks seem to want more bread, it's like us eating chocolate. We want more, but get sick afterwards! I've seen rats on the common many times, always near ...

Re: Looking for advice

Those are all great suggestions. I think it's important to maintain your social interactions. When my mum passed away, I remember holding a grudge against her friends for ceasing to invite us (to parties, dinners etc) after she died. It might be because they felt embarrassed or thought it was too so...

Re: Alphason TV stand APX 50

Forgot to say, the stand is on concealed wheels, so it is easy to roll from one place to another.

Please email me if you are interested. ;)

Thank you

Alphason TV stand APX 50

Hello, I'm (reluctantly) selling our TV stand as we are getting a new TV and new TV stand. The Alphaso APX 50 is an amazing TV stand where the TV is mounted on it and the 4 shelves are made of strong glass supported by strong metal bars. The TV itself can easily rotate to the right or the left on th...
