Jewellery Making Party

My daughter is keen to have a jewellery making party for her 8th birthday and I wondered if anyone has a recommendation for someone locally who offers that sort of thing? My Google searches aren’t coming to fruition so far! Thanks very much.

Re: Specialist for thread vein removal?

Hello, try Professor Ian Loftus who runs a clinic from Parkside and London Bridge Hospital. He removed my (very hefty!) varicose veins last year and did a fantastic job. He also deals with thread veins too.

Re: Is it ok for toddlers to use headphones?

Yes we had the JVC noise reducing earphones for our daughter when she was a toddler and they were great. We had the wireless ones and I would just say to be mindful of the battery life on them as we found it to be very short and it ran out after half an hour on one flight 🙈 So just make sure you tak...

Re: Any Good Shoe Repair?

Mathews Shoe Repairers opposite Clapham South tube is excellent. Quite expensive but worth it in my view as your shoes come back looking like new every time!

Re: Sash window replacement recommendations please?

We had most of our sash windows replaced by Ayrton with traditional wood frames and would highly recommend them. They’re probably not the cheapest out there but worth it for the quality!

Re: Exterior - brick cleaning and repointing

Hello, we had the brickwork of our Victorian terrace cleaned / repointed in 2019 and it cost £4.3k. We also then had the masonry round the windows / porch re-plastered / painted and that was another £700. I would budget for that too as there will likely be some damage to the window sills etc as they...

Re: Medical pedi v regualr pedi is it worth the extra cost?

I have a medical pedi twice a year at Beauchamp Footcare and whilst expensive, I think it’s worth every penny! It’s carried out by a podiatrist so they really treat the feet, rather than just doing a light exfoliation and buff that you get with a normal pedi. They go round every toe and all over the...

They are incredible and last far longer than my Ugg pair I had a few years ago. I’ve also converted my husband 🤣

Re: What are your go to shops for a nice formal summer dress?

If you fancy shopping in person, I’d highly recommend Katherine Bird on Battersea Rise. They have a wonderful range of formal dresses and different brands to anything you’d usually see on the high street!
